Most Common Words
Hello everyone. I've been looking at articles advising learning the most common words (most common 1000, or 300, or whatever amount) in a language for a good basis to build upon. I've been studying Tagalog by myself for about 2 years now and I talk with my step mom and I'd say I already have a very good basis and understanding of the grammar and parts of the language. If I were to go to live in the Philippines, I'm confident that I'd be able to communicate well enough to get around and I speak enough that I'd be able to learn a lot (and become more fluent) pretty easily. But, I'd also like to try this approach of learning the most common words of a language to aid in further learning of it. So, I ask: Does anyone perhaps have a list or know where to get a list of the most commonly used Tagalog words? I really appreciate all the help and all the replies I've been getting recently on my posts, so thanks again to everyone for that. Hopefully, I can get some help for this too. Thanks!
