Childish Gambino – EP Album Download. Shortly after signing a new deal with RCA, Childish Gambino took home a GRAMMY Award over the weekend. Now this week now he reissues his 2011 EP project through a partnership with digital distribution platform Stem.
21 Savage has released his sophomore album I Am > I Was (via Slaughter Gang/Epic). The record features Childish Gambino on a new song called “Monster.” Other guests on the album include J. Cole (“A Lot”), Schoolboy Q (“Good Day”), City Girls (“A&T”), Post Malone (“All My Friends”), Offset (“1.5”), Young Nudy (“4L”), and Gunna and Lil Baby (“Can’t Leave Without It”). On the opening track, “A Lot,” J. Cole raps about Tekashi 6ix9ine, who is currently incarcerated on federal crime charges: “Pray for Tekashi, they want him to rot/I picture him inside the cell on a cot/Reflectin’ on how he made it to the top/Wonderin’ if it was worth it or not.”
I Am > I Was follows 21 Savage’s full-length debut Issa Album and his collaboration with Offset and Metro Boomin, Without Warning. Earlier this year, 21 contributed background vocals to Childish Gambino’s “This Is America.”
Gambino’s last record, the Grammy-nominated“Awaken, My Love!”, came out in 2016. Along with “This Is America,” he released the new tracks “Summertime Magic” and “Feels Like Summer” this year. Donald Glover has also indicated that his next Childish Gambino album will be the last he makes under the Gambino moniker.
